After Elora's children were born, Sion bonded with Sapir, an Air aligned Pixie to become a Meidon-Sprite.[1] When he emerged he had grown about one foot. The Song of Joy and Remembrance added +5 Charisma, +5 Intelligence, +5 Luck and gave him an additional +1 Alignment for a total of 3.
Appearance[]
He was 3 and 1/2 feet tall but after his change to a Meidon-Sprite he was 4 and 1/2 feet.[1]
Personality[]
Sion is the son of Hisako the Hearth Mother, and therefore comes off as slightly arrogant in his upper-class attitude. Though at first, he despises humans, he eventually becomes Richter's first Companion and best friend.
As a child, Sion was rather reckless and had little regard for conventional rules, preferring to "live the wild side". This tendency caught up to him when he suffered a deep personal loss of his best friend after embarking on a foolhardy adventure. Against the orders of Hisako, he ventured too close to a group of renegade human animal thieves. His friend was caught and died as a result of the humans' sadistic torturing that Sion could only helplessly watch. It was only through a personal quest that he finally found redemption.
It is in Sion's nature to tease and exchange friendly insults with Richter constantly despite their fierce loyalty to each other, often to the consternation of whoever can hear this fierce exchange of one-upmanship.
He is also the target of affection for the sprite Daniella, who makes him uncomfortable whenever she is around. He is often unsure how he feels about her, a fact which Richter loves to exploit when teasing him.
